How Hamrah handles money
The full fee is visible
The doctor's consultation fee appears on the profile and again before you confirm. You will not be asked to guess.
No surprise at confirmation
If a platform or payment charge applies to your booking, it is shown before you pay. The total you review is the total you confirm.
Receipts in one place
Payment records and invoices are available from your patient portal when a payment is processed.
Cancellation rules first
The cancellation and rescheduling policy attached to your appointment is shown before confirmation.
Why fees vary
Fees reflect a professional's qualifications, experience, specialty and the length of a session. A psychiatrist's assessment may be priced differently from a therapy session. Online and in-person sessions can also differ. Hamrah does not set a single price for care.
Use the fee filter in the directory to see professionals within a range you are comfortable with. A higher fee does not automatically mean better care; fit, trust and the clinician's approach matter at least as much.
Fee questions
Do I pay on Hamrah or at the clinic?
The payment step for your booking tells you what is supported. If payment is not required online, the profile explains how the professional accepts payment. Never send money to an account that is not shown in the booking flow.
Can the fee change after I book?
The fee you confirm is the fee recorded for that appointment. Any later change should be explained by the professional before it is charged. Contact support if something does not match.
What if I cannot afford a session?
Use the fee filter to find lower-cost professionals, and speak with them directly about options. We do not currently advertise a subsidy programme; do not assume one exists.
